History Part 1

The store was started in 1929 by E.W. Moore in the very small town of Tonkawa, OK. Population 3,500. It started with work clothes and grew over the next several years into children's and women's clothes and shoes.

We've moved...

We've moved and we're all settled in to the new place. We also have our new and improved website up and running. We will be adding new items so be sure to check it out on a regular basis!

Busy

We have been really busy this past month. We are in the process of making the website a little more efficient and better all around. We will be moving the store in less than two weeks! We are adding some fantastic suits to the website that are made in America. Hopefully the new and improved website will be up and running with great new items by the time we move.
Also, we are going to be posting over the next month about the history of the store with some pictures and all the changes it has been through.

Time For a Change

The store has gone through many changes over the years and it's time for another one! We are moving locations but will still be here in Ponca City. We are still going strong on eBay and the website is getting better and better. We will be plenty busy for the next month or so but we will still be adding items to the website when we get a chance. Up and Running

Web Site

We are finally underway to getting our web site up and running. It is partly complete as we selected a template and started putting pictures on as well as our about us page. Next we will add a shopping cart and some other categories. Much of our time has been spent on our eBay listings which can be found by going to our eBay store, Moore's Clothing.

Entering the world of e-commerce.

After spending 34 years in a family clothing store, I find myself doing something I thought that I would never do which is getting into e-commerce. I started 1 year ago by selling on eBay. I found this to be a very exciting venture. Most of the items sold are done on auction but some have been sold out of our eBay store. Moore's Clothing Naturally, we sell what we deal with in our store and the things we know the best. These include tuxedos and men's clothing.(including big & tall) After having some success on eBay, we decided to work on a web page which we hope to have up shortly. Then we decided to start a blog(this is our first) Hope you check back as we make progress with our e-commerce efforts. Ted
